JFDI

In the summer I went to hear Mary Portas talk at the Edinburgh Book Festival. She was talking about her book ‘Work Like a Woman’ and there was so much of what she talked about that really resonated with me. In particular her phrase #JFDI or ‘just fucking do it’ (excuse the sweary word there).

It got me thinking, I had written a group coaching programme for women and it even had a name! But i wasn’t doing anything with it, I was waiting. Don’t ask me what I was waiting for because I have no idea…maybe I was waiting for Mary to say JFDI. So i did, I did it.

I decided to put my We:Align programme out into the world of social media with the hope of having 6 women who wanted to create some improvement in their life, who wanted to step out and be different in some way. I had no idea if I would even get 1 woman never mind 6 and I have the pleasure of now working with 5 brilliant women. It has honestly been one of the best things I’ve done.

Last night we did module 5 which means that we just have one more to go! I have loved every second of engaging with these women and I am so excited to what come next for them. During the course of the programme so far they have found themselves being braver, being bolder, reconnecting with what is important to them and loving it, being open to new ideas and ways of being, playing bigger and ultimately living their dreams and not being driven by their fears.

We:Align will be running online from mid-February. If you are interested in being the first to receive information about it please do drop me an email and I will keep you posted.
