Pause, Refocus, Realign

I know that November is a notoriously busy time in life and in schools and it can feel like you get swept along in a tide of activity and often angst at this time of year. With that in mind I want to share my 'pause, refocus and realign' coaching package.

This is a 90 minute coaching session either face to face or online (depending on location) with a 30 minute follow-up call. Not everyone wants or needs a block of coaching sessions and so this offer is an opportunity to create a little bit of space of and time to think, to step back from the busyness and allow yourself refocus on what it is important and then align your actions accordingly. It's amazing what can be achieved in a 90 minute session and the follow-up call is useful just as a reminder and a refocuser (I know that's not a word but it should be!) For those of you based in Edinburgh this also includes a class pass for my Friday night yoga class - there is honestly no better way to let go of the week and ease yourself into the weekend.

I love being coached and I love coaching. I love the possibilities that open up during this space but also the sense of calm and peace it can bring. It’s not a luxury or a self indulgence, especially for those of us in roles where we support and give to others whether that is a leadership role, nursing or as educators. To be able to support others, to help them grow and be well, we need to be in tip top condition ourselves and that doesn’t happen by luck and chance.

Of course I’m going to think coaching is worthwhile so here’s what a previous 90 minute coaching client had to say:

During my 90 minute coaching conversation with Sarah, I could feel my worries melt away - I felt instantly ‘lighter’ and was aware that even my posture changed during our session! The questions Sarah asked allowed me the opportunity to delve into my worries, whilst at the same time the space to re-programme the way I thought about them. Our conversation ended with me having some ideas and strategies to employ in the first few weeks of term and beyond. I am now excited at the prospect of returning to school.

Another client booked 2 x 90 minute sessions and here's her feedback:

I was initially apprehensive when starting my sessions with Sarah but needn't have been. In the time she has been coaching me I have been able to work through some areas of my professional and personal life that previously worried me and made me feel powerless to change them. This is no longer the case and I am grateful to Sarah for her insight, support and patience!
