Time to trust in the magic of new beginnings

It’s 1 August and Sarah Philp Coaching is officially open! It’s now time to embrace the magic of new beginnings. 

It’s scary. 

It’s exciting. 

It’s liberating. 

It’s all me.

Why am I doing it? That’s easy! 

I’ve always worked with others to create improvement, I’ve always done it by listening carefully and incisive questioning and creating the space for people to think. We are all imperfectly perfect and we can all find the right way, our way aligned to our values while contributing to the making of a better world. It’s of course not only about thinking, it’s about the creating the conditions for action as well. Doing this sort of work is what I am meant to do.

Life is busy, work is busy and we are bombarded with communication on a minute by minute basis. Coaching offers you the space and time to think, this in itself can be transformative. When we have the time and space to think we are able to hear our truth, our inner wisdom. Often we have lost touch with this, reconnecting to it leads to clarity, motivation and fulfilment.

It reminds me of this quote from Winnie the Pooh, one I’ve used a lot in my work with schools over the year. 

“Here is Edward Bear, coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump, on the back of his head, behind Christopher Robin. It is, as far as he knows, the only way of coming downstairs, but sometimes he feels that there really is another way, if only he could stop bumping for a moment and think of it.” 

There is always another way, give yourself the space to find it.
